2026 Continuing Education Symposium
Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists proudly hosts an annual continuing education symposia for veterinarians and technical staff in the Houston veterinary community. 2026 marks our 21st annual Symposia, a milestone that reflects our long-standing commitment to advancing veterinary education. Between our one-day Tech Symposium and two-day DVM Symposium, attendees will have access to 23 hours of TBVME-approved continuing education.
Our 2026 Symposia will feature presentations from board-certified veterinarians and licensed technicians across a wide range of specialties, covering the latest advancements in veterinary medicine, technology, diagnostics, and clinical techniques.
DVM Symposium
Over two days, our DVM Symposium will deliver 16 hours of TBVME-approved CE to an audience of more than 300 Houston-area veterinarians.
The 2026 DVM Symposium will take place on August 22-23, 2026, at The Westin Houston, Memorial City (945 Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77024)
Tech Symposium
In a single day, our Tech Symposium will deliver 7 hours of TBVME-approved CE to approximately 200 Houston-area veterinary technicians.
The 2026 Tech Symposium will take place on July 25, 2026, at Lone Star College, Tomball Campus.
Our Exhibit Hall
During our DVM and Technician Symposia, attendees can meet and connect directly with partners who support these events. Our sponsors play a meaningful role in what we do and are an excellent resource for learning about new products, services, and industry innovations.
Attendees will discover the suppliers we rely on every day at GCVS and explore how these same tools and products can support their own hospitals. Attendees will network with our partners during meals, breaks, and throughout the exhibit hall – and our Exhibit Passport activity adds a fun way to visit every booth and win prizes at the end of each day.
