Roxy Shahraki

Dr. Roxy Shahraki earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin before receiving her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a rotating internship at Tufts University before joining Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists as a Surgery Specialty Intern in 2026.   

Dr. Shahraki was drawn to veterinary medicine because of the endless opportunities to learn and explore its many facets. She has a special interest in orthopedic surgery and traumatology and is excited to continue developing her surgical skills while providing compassionate, high-quality care for her patients.   

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Shahraki enjoys gardening, exploring Houston, and spending time with her Chihuahua mix, Anubis.
