Emergency

Dr. Whittington fell in love with veterinary medicine as a young girl. Her passion for emergency medicine grew while working at an emergency veterinary hospital in West Michigan during her undergraduate studies. Her love of emergency medicine continued throughout her veterinary education at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed several emergency-focused rotations. Following graduation, Dr. Whittington joined the emergency department of a specialty hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. In 2024, she relocated to Texas to become part of the GCVS emergency team. Dr. Whittington strives to provide compassionate, low-stress care for her patients, maintaining a Fear Free Elite Certification. Outside of work, Dr. Whittington shares her life with her husband and their two dogs, Perseus and Cerberus.
