Dr. Jennifer Evanow earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital followed by a 3-year residency in Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation at Cornell University. Dr. Evanow became board Certified in Canine Sports Medicine in 2022. Following her residency, Dr. Evanow moved to Houston Texas to open the Sports Medicine and rehabilitation service at GCVS Houston and now resides at GCVS Nasa Parkway!

Dr. Evanow’s professional interests include all aspects of mobility care from juveniles with congenital orthopedic and neurological conditions to the complete management of geriatric patients. In practice, she utilizes a host of techniques from targeted joint and region specific therapies to systemic noninvasive techniques to treat every patient’s unique and individualized needs.

Outside of professional work, Dr. Evanow and her husband, spend their time fostering geriatric and hospice dogs from all over the city, letting them live their out their best days on a farm complete with their very own pond! She has a particular soft spot for senior pitbulls! When not playing with dogs, Dr. Evanow can be found in the kitchen, pursuing her love of baking or out on the open water with a fishing pole!
