Dr. Rowlands is GCVS’ dedicated hospitalist for the Radiation Oncology department, where she is deeply committed to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to both patients and their families. Before joining GCVS, she served as a hospitalist with PetCure Veterinary Radiation Oncology in Sugar Land and also has experience in general practice and hospice care. Her professional background reflects a strong dedication to supporting pets through every stage of life.

A proud Texan since 2000, Dr. Rowlands earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University after completing her undergraduate degree at Carnegie Mellon University. Although she has practiced exclusively in Texas, her early life took her through West Virginia, Virginia, Alabama, and Pennsylvania—experiences that taught her to appreciate the beauty and kindness found in every corner of the country.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Rowlands enjoys hiking, traveling, and learning new art techniques from her talented daughter. She treasures time with friends, family, and her beloved animal crew, which currently includes a rescue dog and four cats.
