Gael earned an Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from the Vet Tech Institute of Houston, graduating with honors. He is a licensed veterinary technician in two states and is among approximately 400 individuals worldwide to have achieved RECOVER CPR Instructor certification following rigorous and intensive training. 

With a primary focus in critical care, Gael has also gained extensive experience in surgery and anesthesia, where he trained alongside operating room technicians, surgeons, and anesthesiologists to broaden his clinical expertise. In addition to his work at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, he performs relief work out of state. He is passionate about advancing the skills and knowledge of fellow veterinary technicians through teaching and mentorship. 

Gael is currently pursuing his Certified Veterinary Business Leader (CVBL) certification, which will further his professional development in veterinary leadership and management. He was drawn to the field by the broad scope of practice for licensed veterinary technicians in Texas, as well as his continuous drive to learn, grow, and share knowledge with others. 

Outside of work, Gael can often be found at the airport catching spontaneous weekend flights or spending time with close friends and family.
