Deziree Huynh

Dr. Deziree Huynh earned her Bachelor of Animal Science degree from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa before moving away from home to attend Lincoln Memorial University, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

A lifelong animal lover, Dr. Huynh was inspired to pursue veterinary medicine after losing her first pet, a rabbit named Coco, to illness. That experience fueled her passion for helping animals and strengthened her commitment to improving access to veterinary care, particularly for exotic pets, in her hometown community.

Dr. Huynh has a strong interest in internal medicine, critical care, and emergency medicine and is excited to further explore these specialties throughout her training. In June 2026, she joined the GCVS Houston team as a Rotating Intern, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of specialty and emergency services.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Huynh enjoys surfing, chasing waterfalls, and trying new hobbies. Her favorite adventure companion is her gray pittie, Lexi. She is also passionate about learning more about her Vietnamese culture and language.
