Carolyn Blank, DVM, DACVR
Diagnostic Imaging
Dr. Carolyn Blank earned her Bachelor’s degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Tulane University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Louisiana State University. Following graduation, she pursued a small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee, then returned to LSU to complete a residency in Diagnostic Imaging.
While Dr. Blank enjoys all aspects of radiology, her favorite modalities include MRI and digital radiography. She also has a particular interest in performing ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspirates and biopsies. As a member of the GCVS team, she is passionate about contributing to growth in the veterinary medicine field by helping train the next generation of veterinary specialists.
Outside of work, Dr. Blank is an avid horror movie fan and Halloween enthusiast. She also loves cooking, exploring new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends. Dr. Blank shares her home with her bichon frise, Winter, and her orange cat, Autumn.
