Diagnostic Imaging House Officer (DVM)

Carly Rem

Dr. Carly Rem earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a pre-veterinary emphasis from the University of Minnesota. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. Following veterinary school, she pursued a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the MSPCA Angell in Boston, where she further honed her clinical skills. Dr. Rem is proud to continue her training as a Diagnostic Imaging House Officer at GCVS, where she works alongside a collaborative team of board-certified specialists.

Dr. Rem’s passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood, inspired by visits to the veterinarian with her family pets. Before vet school, she worked as a veterinary assistant and technician at a general practice, where she developed an interest in diagnostic imaging. Fascinated by the skill required to interpret radiographs and ultrasound images, she was drawn to the critical role radiology plays in supporting other veterinary specialties and the collaborative nature of the field.

Outside of work, Dr. Rem enjoys reading, cross-stitching, crocheting, walking her dogs, spending time with friends, and is currently learning to whittle. She shares her life with her partner and two beloved dogs she adopted while studying in St. Kitts—Gwendolyn Stacy and Bruce Wayne.
