Brandon Lawler
Dr. Brandon Lawler is a board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. He completed his undergraduate degree, Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University. Following graduation, he pursued a rotating internship at GCVS (2021 – 2022) before completing his Anesthesia and Analgesia Residency at the University of Minnesota (2022 – 2025). He successfully passed his board examinations and is now a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia (DACVAA).
Dr. Lawler has known from a young age that he wanted to be a veterinarian, a calling inspired by his lifelong love of animals. His professional interests include locoregional anesthesia with ultrasound guidance and designing multimodal anesthetic protocols to minimize side effects and improve patient comfort.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Lawler is an avid rock climber (mostly indoors) and enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new craft beers. He shares his home with Astro, his 11-year-old Portuguese Water Dog.
