Dr. Alla Bezhentseva received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Animal Science from Rutgers University in 2013. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2017 from Tufts University with the ACVS Foundation Student Surgery Award. After completing a small animal rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center, Dr. Bezhentseva moved to San Antonio for a surgical internship at a private practice. She then returned to the Northeast to complete a surgical residency at Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services in Rochester, New York.  Dr. Bezhentseva performs orthopedic and soft tissue surgery and has special interests in trauma and minimally invasive procedures.
