Dr. McDonald graduated from Texas A&M University where she received both her bachelor’s degree and doctor of veterinary medicine degree. She then completed a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center Memorial in Boston, MA. Although she loved Boston, Dr. McDonald elected to return to her hometown of Houston after her internship to work as an emergency veterinarian. Outside of work, Dr. McDonald enjoys gardening, being outdoors, knitting, and playing the ukulele.
