Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS)

We’ve had outstanding veterinary care for over 6 years now, for both our yellow lab and now, our chicken, at Gulf Coast. I feel so fortunate that we have them here in Houston. I could not ask for better care: there is clinical excellence and everyone we have interacted with has the warmest heart. Highly recommend.

The staff was very knowledgable and offer me several treatment plans for my dog's allergies.

The experience was very professional. My dog was attacked by a pit bull. He had many internal injuries. They really helped him to get home; however, it was excessively expensive in my opinion.

Amazing service. Came in with our baby willow and they took great care of her. She is not easy to handle, and they didn't even have to sedate her, which tells me how gentle they were with her! 10/10 if ur pet is having an emergency come in here! They do charge $198 walking in just so you know, but It was worth it in our case.

They are amazing took my dog in for a major surgery on a holiday weekend they gave us a price that was higher than normal because of the holiday weekend.(understand having to call in a specialist surgeon)They took the extra step of calling and checking availability and pricing with Texas A&M veterinarian Hospital To get us the care we needed ASAP. Amazing care! Everyone is so kind and they truly care. My dog would not have survived without them.

All the staff was so patient with me and my family, they immediately took in my baby and helped her as she fought for her life, not a day that goes by that I thank god and the doctors who helped her pull through. During the three days she was hospitalized I slept easier knowing the staff was loving her just as much as I love her.

I have to say Gulf Coast will figure out what is wrong with your pup ! The staff is incredible . The techs are so friendly which is helpful when you’re freaking out . The doctors are amazing . I when to sleep my little chihuahua, oder two veterinary recommends me. My bb is 15 years old and he was in a lot of pain. The veterinarian here give me a great treatment for him and his is recovering!!!

Very kind, thorough, doctors and staff. Appreciated the visiting hours and ICU updates. Actually thought it was going to cost more than it did. Have recently found that many friends have had great experiences here as well. Highly recommend.
