Kathryn Wrubel, PhD
Dr. Wrubel arrives at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists with the addition of our Behavioral Therapy service. She received her PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin. She completed postdoctoral fellowships at the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in the Animal Behavior Clinic and the Tufts University School of Medicine in the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. Dr. Wrubel has expertise in treating dog and cat aggression, feline house soiling and marking, compulsive behavior, and parrot behavioral conditions. She is energized by tackling complex and difficult behavior cases and helping pets to be successful in their homes. In her free time, she enjoys live music, collecting mid-century antiques, and spending time with her pets.
