Dentistry Technician

Gulf Coast Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery is looking for a full-time technician to assist our busy board-certified veterinary dentist.

Our Veterinary Dental Technicians are fundamental assets for the delivery of our multi-faceted service. They are responsible for many duties which include, but are not limited to:  dental cleanings and dental radiographs on patients, surgical assistance, anesthesia induction, maintenance and monitoring of anesthesia, surgical preparation of patients, circulating in the operating room to assist the doctor, immediate pre and post-operative treatments, maintenance of medical, anesthesia and surgery records/logs, recovery of patients from anesthesia, assisting with appointments and data entry/invoicing.

Requirements: Applicants must be graduates of an AVMA approved Veterinary Technology Program and must have their LVT status or obtain it within one year of employment. Experience and VTS a plus, but VTS not required.
