Client Patient Coordinator – Critical Care (1-9 PM)

Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists is a referral only veterinary specialty practice that provides the highest quality, most comprehensive specialized care for companion animals using technologically advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment along with a group of dedicated veterinary specialists and staff. We offer services in cardiology, critical care, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency, internal medicine, ophthalmology, dentistry, surgery, interventional radiology, radiation and medical oncology, surgery, and exotics. We are currently seeking full time client service position to support our Critical Care team of veterinarians.
It is the responsibility of the Client Patient Coordinator (CPC) to maintain the communication lines between the doctor and client, provide daily financial and medical updates on all in-hospital patients, and handle client phone calls and questions.

This position requires a very organized and dependable individual, who can manage multiple tasks at the same time with a great deal of positive energy. Superior communication skills and excellent client service skills are paramount, while managing associated tasks in an extremely fast paced environment. The CPC role is to help clients create true bonds with our doctors and staff, and ensure that our clients know we truly care for them and their pet. This person must have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years experience in a veterinary clinic environment, or extensive client service experience in another field.
