“The Law Dog”
|
Kodi is in charge of office security at
the Law Office of his master. He is
also a personal friend,
confidant, and constant companion going back and forth to work daily. He
is always the first to arrive in the morning and the last to leave at
night. What a work ethic!
This special “Man” holds his place in the hearts of the
office staff, local judges, police officers, and many others in the
community. The 10 year-old yellow Labrador Retriever thinks he is an
attorney.
Kodi attends client interviews. Not only does he have a
calming affect in the office, he is part of the client selection process.
If he does not like a prospective client, services very well may not be
offered.
Previously, Kodi had a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) on
one side. Rehabilitation was prolonged and difficult. Now, the other hip
was bothering him. A hip replacement was a better option than another FHO
on the second side.

Kodi with an
FHO and in need of a Total Hip
Replacement.

Kodi had a hip replacement and he felt
good. Real good. While playing in the surf one day 10 months
after the surgery, he fractured his femur below the prosthesis. The
fracture was repaired successfully, and he is expected to make a full
recovery. He was back on duty at the office after just a couple weeks off.
The hip replacement was unaffected by the accident.
What a Man! |

The hip replacement is completed, but he still has the
FHO on the other side. |
