Dr. Katie Rhue received her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2010. She then completed a one-year rotating internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Tinton Falls, NJ. This was followed by a one-year emergency and critical care internship at Ohio State University. Dr. Rhue then went on to practice for two years as an emergency clinician at Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Clarks Summit, PA. It was then that Dr. Rhue decided that her true passion was critical care and went on to complete a three-year emergency and critical care residency at Auburn University in July 2017. Dr. Rhue’s special interests include endocrine and urinary emergencies. Dr. Rhue joined Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in October 2017.
