Dr. Eric Cagle received a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University in 2005. He continued his education at Texas A&M University receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008. After graduation, he relocated to Houston and spent a number of years in general practice prior to joining the team at Gulf Coast Animal Emergency Hospital. Dr Cagle enjoys the many rewards and challenges of emergency medicine, and has special interests in trauma, toxicology, and gastrointestinal disease. Dr. Cagle shares his Montrose home with three cats. He is an avid music fan and endurance athlete. He typically spends his free time training for upcoming races and has completed many long-distance races, including an Ironman triathlon.
