Gulf Coast Veterinary Oncologists was the first veterinary radiation oncology practice in the Gulf Coast region. This practice is only one of a handful of veterinary radiation oncology facilities in the United States with linear accelerator therapy capabilities.
A linear accelerator allows for precise radiation therapy fields and a decreased amount of time necessary for the actual radiation treatment. In keeping with this commitment to quality cancer therapy, this group also utilizes a radiation physicist and state-of-the-art computer-based therapy planning unit to ensure the radiation therapy patient is appropriately treated with a minimal amount of normal surrounding tissue irradiated.
Drs. King, Carreras and Endicott are available to consult with your veterinarian if they have oncology cases requiring further diagnostic workup or treatment.
