Dr. Glen K. King received his D.V.M. from Auburn University. He is Board Certified in Radiology and Radiation Oncology and a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology. He is the founder of Gulf Coast Veterinary Oncology (1989) and Gulf Coast Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (1994). He specializes in the multidisciplinary approach to managing the cancer patient, with particular emphasis in radiation therapy.
Dr. Janet Carreras received her V.M.D. in 1998 from The University of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete a Small Animal Medicine & Surgery Internship (1999) and Medical Oncology Residency (2001) at the University of Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified in Medical Oncology by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. She specializes in the diagnostic and medical management of our patients with cancer. She is also certified in Veterinary Acupuncture.
Dr. Elias Gumpel received a B.S. in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and then went on to receive his D.V.M. degree from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He then spent the next four years from 2004 – 2008 as a general practitioner in Katy, TX and is now pursuing specialization in the field of Veterinary Radiation Oncology as an intern here at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists. He sees patients under the supervision of one of the staff oncologist.
