The plan for Zack was to be an active dog that could run with his sister, Rosie, and to be able to go hiking with his owners.

The following note sent with the pictures below was received about 3 months after hip replacement surgery.

“We hope this email finds you both doing well. Zack is doing great as the attachments illustrate.

We are vacationing in Taos, NM. Zack and his sister Rosie pulled us up this trail.

Thanks again for performing such a successful operation and taking care of Zack.

Best Regards,”
