Title: Front Office Personnel-Receptionist
We are looking for friendly, energetic and enthusiastic pet loving people to join the front office staff of Gulf Coast Veterinary Surgery, Neurology, Avian & Exotics, and Rehabilitation & Fitness. Our front office personnel provide service for the front desk shared by these practices, and provide an important role in client service and patient care. They are the faces of our hospital. Our front office staff works very closely with the other hospital personnel to achieve the highest level in client service and patient care.
A high school diploma with at least 2 years of medical or dental office client service is required. Ideally one-year experience in the veterinary field is recommended, but not required. We answer a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, operate basic office machines, payment processing, payment reconciliation, high volume of messaging using Microsoft Outlook, and alphabetic and numeric filing organization. We need individuals that are quick thinkers, thrive in a fast paced environment, and are able to function efficiently while multitasking.

Title: Client/Patient Service Coordinator
Gulf Coast Veterinary Surgery, Orthopedics and Neurology is a group of seven veterinary specialists and four associate veterinarians, all supported by a group of dedicated and skilled technicians trained to handle the unique caseload we receive from our referring veterinarians. The Client/Patient Service Coordinators the doctor’s right-hand, relaying information to the clients and staff while organizing the daily activities of the veterinarian. They are also the client advocates, making sure the clients’ needs and concerns are appreciated on all levels. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and above all, compassionate technicians with great people skills for our fast paced small animal referral hospital. We need someone who is organized and able to do multiple tasks. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with appointments, client communications, computer entry, and also routine technical skills including venipuncture, IV and urinary catheter placement, anesthetic monitoring, incision, drain and bandage management, etc. Great benefits. Title: Surgery Technician, Part Time
Job Description: Our Surgery Technicians are responsible for maintenance of medical, anesthesia, and surgery records/logs, anesthesia induction and maintenance, surgical preparation of patients, circulating in the operating room, scrubbing in to assist during surgical procedures, immediate pre and post-operative treatments and recovery of surgery patients.
Our technicians manage their cases with a variety of pre and post-op medication protocols, Propofol induction, and Isoflurane or Sevoflurane maintenance. They continuously monitor their patients during surgery with the assistance of pulse oximetry, ECG, capnography and Doppler blood pressure.

Requirements: Applicants must be graduates of an AVMA approved Veterinary Technology Program and must obtain their RVT status within two years of employment.
